I started my mid-month attending the birthday party of one of my goddaughters. I can't believe that she's already four years old. Four years old! Things were a bit light and slow last week. It rained a LOT and honestly, I had the most challenging time fighting the urge to lay down and nap. There were days when I accepted defeat and just gave in to what my body wanted but I also had moments of victory. I celebrated my little moments of victory with delicious food -- like patting myself on the back for a job well done.
It was still a good week. I feel grateful that I'm slowly learning to create balance in my life and being more mindful of my decisions. It is a practice that requires patience and consistency. We are not always in our best selves and that's okay; but just like what I mentioned in my previous post, it's okay to take a break but never stop.
🌷 Here's to romanticizing some of the little happy moments that transpired last week.
I spent my Monday bonding with my sister while doing her errands
I attended my goddaughter's 4th birthday party
My 9.9 orders arrived and I did a short unboxing video
Discovered a new art style
Read three chapters of LOTR: Fellowship of the Ring - I finally had more time to read
I had a nice dinner with my mom and had a little walk down memory lane
I'm finally done cutting my loose memo sheets
After a long time, I had lunch at my favorite Korean restaurant - Jin Joo
Celebrated my friend's birthday after two years (that she wasn't able to celebrate)
I watched one of our famous OPM artists sing at a local bar (during my friend's birthday) and I had so much fun
What happy little moments are you celebrating this week? I hope you also get to enjoy, cherish, and appreciate the simplest things and blessings coming into your life. Let's practice being more mindful together. 🤍
